Free limo dispatch software: what a free plan should include
What to expect from free limo dispatch and booking software, where free plans usually stop, and what LimOperations includes at no cost.

Why a free plan matters for small fleets
Owner-operators and companies with one or two cars cannot justify a large monthly software bill, yet they still have bookings to track, drivers to brief and invoices to send. A genuinely free plan lets a small company work properly from the first ride and move up only when the business has grown into it.
The minimum a free plan should do
Free should still mean usable. At a minimum, look for unlimited bookings rather than a handful per month, a calendar that shows the day at a glance, records for drivers and vehicles, invoices you can send to clients, and a way for drivers to see their own rides on their phone. It should not expire after a trial period, and your records should stay yours.
The usual catches
Read the plan page closely. Common limits include a monthly booking cap that runs out in a busy week, a trial disguised as a free plan, a fee for every driver you add, invoices locked behind the paid tier, and no way to take your data with you. Any one of these can turn free software into a forced upgrade at the worst moment.
What LimOperations includes for free
The LimOperations Starter plan costs nothing and has no time limit. It includes unlimited bookings, the booking calendar and basic dispatch, driver and vehicle records with availability, trip history and invoices, the mobile driver portal, and transfers to and from partner companies. Text messages to clients use prepaid credits, so you pay only for the messages you send.
When paying starts to make sense
The Manager plan, at twenty-nine dollars a month plus taxes, adds what a growing company starts to need: booking from a screenshot with AI, route, time and fuel estimates in each booking, a client directory with profiles, and operational reports. The Scaler plan, at forty-nine dollars a month plus taxes, adds dispatcher accounts for your office team, vehicle profitability and expense tracking, performance dashboards for drivers, vehicles and clients, downloadable reports and a weekly report emailed to the owner.
New businesses can try Scaler free for seven days, and moving between plans never deletes your bookings or records.
Questions to ask any free plan
- Are bookings unlimited, or capped each month?
- Can I send invoices without upgrading?
- Is there a charge for each driver or vehicle?
- Does it expire, or is it free with no time limit?
- Can drivers see their rides on their own phone?
- What happens to my records if I change plans?
