A client portal for limo companies: rides, requests, passengers
What a client portal does for a limo company: clients see their rides, request new ones and manage passengers, with sign-in by one-time code.

The questions a portal answers
Most calls from regular clients are not new bookings. They ask what time the car is coming, which car it is, whether last week's ride was received, or how to book the same trip again. Each of these takes a dispatcher away from the work only they can do. A client portal lets clients find those answers themselves.
What clients see when they sign in
A client invited to the LimOperations client portal sees their own rides, upcoming and past, with the details of each booking. They can request a new ride, keep their profile up to date and, for corporate clients, manage the list of passengers who travel on their account. They never see another client's information.
Signing in without a password to forget
The business sends each client a private link to the portal. Signing in then requires a one-time code sent to the email address or phone number the business holds for that client, so a forwarded link alone does not open the account, and clients have no password to remember or reset.
Ride requests that arrive complete
A ride requested through the portal reaches the business with the client already identified, and for corporate accounts the passenger already chosen. The dispatcher reviews the request, assigns the driver and vehicle, and confirms it. There is no retyping of a name or a phone number taken down over the phone.
Because the portal shows the same booking the office sees, a client checking their ride the evening before reads the confirmed time and pickup address, not a version remembered from a phone call. When something changes, the client sees the updated details the next time they look.
Who it suits
The portal is most useful for clients who book often: corporate accounts, hotels, assistants managing executives' travel, and event planners. Inviting clients to the portal is part of the Scaler plan, which also includes dispatcher accounts and the performance dashboards.
Rolling out the client portal
- Start with your five most frequent clients.
- Check each client's email or phone before sending the link.
- Tell them what they can do there in one short message.
- Add corporate clients' regular passengers first.
- Review portal requests as promptly as phone bookings.
